The Spoils reviews

I would say " jessie Eisenberg " could be the Woody Allen of the Social Network Generation- his work is creatively depraved with descriptive odd dreams- his humor catches you by surprise and at the same time has the entire audience , load , all

together ,sigh in disbelief at the plays direction. The characters choice of self deprecation and speed talking to a necrotic point is alarming , yet hilariously odd. He portrays his character who is so mean - loathing and self loathing with physical comedy to affection with his co stars to an almost loveable hated protagonist - needy to his co star - roommate - friend whom tolerates him with earnest . His co star " from the Big Bang theory " plays that exactly -" his co star- " supporting role with a strong " I got your back " approach of loyalty as the roommate to a highly dysfunctional , desperately lonely man - pot addicted film writer with no film Credits. Currently trying to earn the heart of an old friend . The play takes you down a path of a character who gets more miserable, meaner to all -as he is dillusional about his life- the play ends with a shed of light to the heart and humanity of his character to open the audience and the character to a bigger heart hidden inside he almost did not know he had it -
