The recent news of a potential TLC Musical (https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/RB-Girl-Group-TLC-At-Work-On-A-Broadway-Bio-Musical-20190321) got me thinking about the rise of Broadway musicals based on 1990s hits. We already have the Off-Broadway "Cruel Intentions" using a 1990s soundtrack, and "Jagged Little Pill" is heading to Broadway soon. In addition, both "& Juliet" and "Once Upon A One More Time" (both of which will have overlapping soundtracks) will premiere later this year.
What other 1990's themed Jukebox musicals would you like to see? What artists and genres would they be based on?
