Yea, about that Dre: see, this is a thread debating whether or not he may get a nomination. So obviously his conviction is going to "come up" in conversation.

well, if this is about his nomination, then talk about his performance. That is what the committee will be looking at, not his past.
It's not I accept what he did. not at all. But I'm trying to look past that and appreciate who he is as a performer, which I feel a lot of people should.
