The Visit Student Rush

Anyone recently do student rush for this show? I assume I don't need to go when the box office opens as the show is playing to 20% capacity? Will they give out orchestra seats or is it worth it to just but the $30 balcony seats online? Thanks

Balcony seats and last row of mezzanine are $19.75

I would go with last row mezzanine and move down as the ushers allow it. Seating in the mezzanine is great.

We moved down to row D center mezzanine.

Go this week as it will probably close the week after.

I would actually advise you to do the Student Rush instead of the $19.75 online deal.

Yes, you will pay an additional $10 and have to sacrifice some convenience and time; however, I saw The Visit twice, once from the balcony and once from a student rush seat in the third row of the side orchestra, and the experience was much better from the rush seat. There isn't much better than seeing Chita Rivera's performance from that close!

As for the details of my rush experience: I got to the box office at 10:30 and had no trouble buying a single seat in the Orchestra.

I'm glad to hear you're going to support this brilliant show, it's my favorite musical of the season!

I rushed on Sunday at 1pm and got row D far right in the orchestra.  Woman at the box office implied there were many rush tickets to be had.
