In an alternate universe, this is the eighties pop musical revival Aaron Tveit and Lea Michele are starring in, even though she’s much more right for it than he is.

Julia has to have a bit of the same energy Robbie does, where she’s cute and lovable but genuinely a LITTLE bit crazy in that Elaine Benes way. It’s not even a hard sing compared to Holly- you could probably cast an actress-who-sings and not suffer much for it.

I wish I saw a better production that the sad deathly boring Australian one a few years ago. It was a slog. But you could tell that a show was in there, just not in that production

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Such a fun show! The cast is solid and the recording is still so fun to listen to.

Maybe we're getting to the point where this is a good Encores! candidate.

Such a fun show. I saw the national tour twice in one day. The score is chock-full of great tunes.

"Your goyim friends have been agog / since they left the synagogue / drunk on schnapps and in a fog" is way too good of a lyric to never be heard on a Broadway stage again.
