I love it. It's a rock score similar to something like Jesus Christ Superstar, but more accurate of the rock genre, I believe. I saw the show twice and would gladly see it again. Try the link to listen to clips. It's not everyone's cup of tea.

Posted: 12/18/03 at 10:32amAgreed. For those who love true rock musicals both these show's do indeed rock. I covered the tour at the Merriam in Philly, 2/02 and am in need of a Tommy fix!

I was actually in Tommy at a community theater a few years ago. I DO love the music from the show. It's one of my favorite rock musicals, after Godspell.

Sherie Rene Scott has a big song. She plays Sally Simpson, and sings a lot on the second CD, near the end. She asks Tommy how all his fans can be more like him, and he freaks out because he's finally more like them!
She's also in "Tommy, Can You Hear Me?" in which she's one of the only 2 or 3 girls in the song.
