I'm still hoping to see Anika Noni Rose as Dorothy..in ANY Production. And, unless they've done some decent revising since LaJolla she might be the only thing to make it worth the price of a ticket.

NOT TRUE!!!! Actually Nikki was a great Dorthy and I think Anika would suck! I dont think her voice has a pop enouph quality for the role. Obviously they are going to have to find another lion and we know that nobody can work that role better than Tituss!!
The La Jolla Show was worth every penny for the ticket! You should have seen it!

Nikki was incredible as Dorothy. Titus was great. The rest of the show left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Granted, I also saw a very early preview that was chock full of technical difficulties.

Ya... they did have A LOT of technical difficulties at the begining. Once they got those worked out the show was great! Maby a FEW little things could be changed but for the most part the show was VERY enjoyable!!!!

Too bad "The Wiz" is soul and not pop....
