If it's to be multi-racial, as I have heard, I say Ann Harada as Evilline!
Whatever happened to Goeffrey Holder, anyway?

i would say i agree with you mister matt, b/c i usually do- but Henry Krieger is way different from Andrew Lippa..i don't think it could be the same.
I am also probably a little bias, because Billy has been telling me about this for months now. I guess his discomfort with the revival has begun to grate me as well..

Geoffrey Holder's designs and direction were so creative and imaginative (especially memorable was the dazzling tornado sequence that began with a single dancer swirling with a piece of black fabric that grew and grew and swelled and eventually filled the entire stage giving off the illusion of a pulsating tornado -- brilliant). I'm curious what this new creative team will come up with -- I hope they don't screw it up, because the original stage production was astonishing, superior in every way to the overblown film version.

Anika Noni Rose would be awesome in almost anything lol. Any other ideas for casting?
(I don't know the show or movie to put in my two cents)

I have always said Anika Noni Rose.....
I'd also like to chime in Shayna Steele, who has played Dorothy regionally...... for a younger Dorothy, how about Danelle Eugenia Wilson of Hairspray?
