The Woman In Black....has this show been on Broadway?

From what I've read about the plot this seems like a cool show...I don't think it's a musical...but its been at the West End since 1989..has anyone seen this show?

I believe OFF-Broadway. I saw it when it was here, but can't remember if it was on or off.

I saw it in London. It's a two-hander.

Creepy and mysterious and lots of fun.

It played off-bway a few years back at the now defunct Variety Arts Theatre, I believe.

I saw it. Very creepy. However,when I was around 12, I saw a film version which was done for television, I believe. I keep meaning to buy that version to see it again. It scared the hell out of me.

I also saw it in London. Great, spooky play. It was off-Broadway for a brief run. Anyone know why it ran over here for such a short time?

Convinceme: I also saw the T. V. film from 1989. The play is definitly better, but the movie is extremely rare, so it's worth seeing once.

Also, who here had read the book? Good book, but out of all these things, the play is the real standout.
