PAST: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or Urinetown, Comedy. Sweeney Todd or Les Miserables, Drama

PRESENT [currently on B'way]: Avenue Q or Spamalot or maybe Xanadu, Comedy. Spring Awakening, best drama.

See, I would be thinking along the lines of Guys and Dolls, Gypsy, South Pacific, Carousel, Fiddler on the Roof...

Comedy- well, Producers would be up there as would Spamalot. For Drama probably Sweeney or Gyspy.

Drowsy Chaperone and Spamalot are def 2 of the funniest musical comedies....delightful is the word for both of them.

and i personally think Oklahoma has a brilliant combination of comedy and drama
