I'm trying to get tickets to the king and i on broadway for september 15th. However, tickets are only available through sep 4th. Does anybody know if the show is set to close on the 4th? Or when tickets will become available? I need to know because otherwise I'll book another show. Thanks in advance!

I would guess that that depends on how well the show does this summer. I believe the production is described as an "open-ended run."
Try calling or emailing the Lincoln Center box office. I did that once, and while I don't remember if they answered my question, I received a prompt and polite response.

It depends how well it does with the new leads although the actor playing the King is only doing it for 2 months and he starts next week.
