Okay, I give up. Marc and Scott are too damned clever for their own good. That article reads like an indiscrete homage to every show currently on Broadway, and a bunch of shows that aren't. It's spiced with more references than a Bombay curry. I don't even think Mr. McLaughlin caught them all.
Brilliant.
Oh, wait. So it was unintentional? Even worse. Maybe the problem is y'all need to get out more? Or maybe I do?
I musta ran 50 Checks on that article, looking for tidbits. I *do* need to get out more.
LSD? I have one word for you Marc. HUSSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't the gum line to Penny though?
I have to read it again. Maybe I missed context.
yes, that is a mistake..I already wrote the editor! that article needent have wrong information to be any more shocking than it is!
It is a weird article, to be sure... but "eye" is just a small-scale Toronto entertainment rag that tries to be trendy by printing four-letter words. Like its counterparts here in Ottawa, people only read it for the concert, movie and theatre listings. Blame Canada.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I think it's an interesting article to say the least. I enjoy reading about our favorite songwriter/lyricist duo... (Sometimes I don't know whether I would want to shake their hands, or pinch their cheeks.
)
As a tourist in Toronto, I picked up "eye" and read it cover to cover... I tend to enjoy the freedom of the "alternative press" at times. I wouldn't suggest that it is completely bird cage liner, Kris.
Obviously they are hip enough to help promote 'Hairspray'. Not to say that it needs promoting in Toronto... The show's banner is already hanging from almost every street light in downtown Toronto.
Yeah. I never understood how the Mirvishes managed to do that there. It's quite a sight...
...and ANY entertainment rag without "Savage Love" in it is bird cage liner ![]()
I just hope that there isn't any confusion/negtativity over the "wandering" nature of the way that that article was put together.
I'm sure the interview was good, but the post-production seems to be pretty crappy.
Kris, sounds like u prefer "Toronto Life" LOL
Speaking of Savage he gonna be here to talk about raising kids- @ the In/Out Film Fest should be interesting.
