Posted: 9/27/04 at 1:02pmAll I can say is LOL to you Brooklyn bashers. Don't you have anything better to do? The fact that you are all consumed by Brooklyn, that you spend all day on this board, and that you are obessed with calling people shills and speaking badly about the production, just proves that BROOKLYN IS IN YOUR BLOOD!

Posted: 9/27/04 at 1:04pmOh krose, thanks for playing. But please note that we are not bashing Brooklyn. We are taking a stance against the ludicrous amount of shills on this board about Brooklyn. We will never be able to bash Brooklyn itself because, as a point of principle, WE WILL NEVER SEE THE SHOW. Got it?

Posted: 9/27/04 at 1:07pmI thought all you could say was LOL.

Posted: 9/27/04 at 1:17pmhmmm, i don't feel consumed by brooklyn at all... Manhattan, maybe... if i let myself be consumed by brooklyn, then i will have given over to the dark side... may the force be with us all...

You guys are terrible, although I must admit I am laughing. (A deep character flaw, I am sure.) Why don't you let them have a "thread of their own" where they can gush and say ludicrous things about "their show"? I've loved unpopular shows in the past, and it's a terrible thing to be attacked all the time for something that has captured your soul.
Now, if it just turns out to be a shill thread, so be it...no one will read it after a while, the shills will just be talking to each other. Excuse me, oter.

Posted: 9/27/04 at 1:26pmyou know what? that's been tried, but everyone says it doesn't work (although the Bare thread shows contrary)... besides, all the little kiddies need to start their own threads, otherwise they wouldn't get the attention they so sorely lack in their home lives...

Because, Sunfish, they can't just keep it to one thread. This is the umpteenth "official" thread Brooklyn has had, and roughly the bazillionth thread about the show that we have been subjected to. And some of us are a little tired of it and it brings out the bitch in us.
#34re: The official Brooklyn Thread
Posted: 9/27/04 at 1:28pmI'm totally consumed by Staten Island myself.

ok, popcultureboy, I admit I haven't read ALL the brooklyn threads, so I accept your reasons...not that anyone cares.
It was just a thought.
Of course, if we didn't answer them, even in fun...about Matt_G's prospects in prison...(that was hysterical)...the name wouldn't keep popping up to the top...since they've lost control of this one there will probably be another soon...soon the whole page will be Brooklyn....as far as the eye can see......
#39re: The official Brooklyn Thread
Posted: 9/27/04 at 2:34pmYes, the thread titles will all mention Brooklyn, Sunfish, but NONE of the messages contained therein will actually be about Brooklyn. That will be the beauty of it.

Wasn't Threadjack a TV show in the 80's?
Or am I thinking of Kojak?
#44re: The official Brooklyn Thread
Posted: 9/27/04 at 2:45pmMaybe Crackerjack, or was that a UK phenomenon?

Posted: 9/27/04 at 2:47pmDefinitely a Kojak....Threadjack would have to be a late 90's-21st century show unless it was about a sewing sweatshop or something....

#47re: The official Brooklyn Thread
Posted: 9/27/04 at 2:58pmWell beans, I's can tell ya that a shill be what one is called when a he or a she person workin' fer a show decide to git on a board much like this one har, and talk 'bout it day an' night fer ever.

Posted: 9/27/04 at 4:14pmFunny how we can have positive threads but no negative ones...personally I think this show is overhyped and is as dangerous for the industry with its poppy/horribly worded songs as Mamma Mia, All Shook Up, etc. And since when can a show base its publicity on the fact that its star was the UNDERSTUDY of another show...seems a bit odd to me.
