re: The official Brooklyn Thread

my sweet British bum? Is that the equivalent of your cute American ass?

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

All I can say is LOL to you Brooklyn bashers. Don't you have anything better to do? The fact that you are all consumed by Brooklyn, that you spend all day on this board, and that you are obessed with calling people shills and speaking badly about the production, just proves that BROOKLYN IS IN YOUR BLOOD!

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

Oh krose, thanks for playing. But please note that we are not bashing Brooklyn. We are taking a stance against the ludicrous amount of shills on this board about Brooklyn. We will never be able to bash Brooklyn itself because, as a point of principle, WE WILL NEVER SEE THE SHOW. Got it?

I thought all you could say was LOL.

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

hmmm, i don't feel consumed by brooklyn at all... Manhattan, maybe... if i let myself be consumed by brooklyn, then i will have given over to the dark side... may the force be with us all...

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

You guys are terrible, although I must admit I am laughing. (A deep character flaw, I am sure.) Why don't you let them have a "thread of their own" where they can gush and say ludicrous things about "their show"? I've loved unpopular shows in the past, and it's a terrible thing to be attacked all the time for something that has captured your soul.

Now, if it just turns out to be a shill thread, so be it...no one will read it after a while, the shills will just be talking to each other. Excuse me, oter.

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

you know what? that's been tried, but everyone says it doesn't work (although the Bare thread shows contrary)... besides, all the little kiddies need to start their own threads, otherwise they wouldn't get the attention they so sorely lack in their home lives...

Because, Sunfish, they can't just keep it to one thread. This is the umpteenth "official" thread Brooklyn has had, and roughly the bazillionth thread about the show that we have been subjected to. And some of us are a little tired of it and it brings out the bitch in us.

I'm totally consumed by Staten Island myself.

There's nothing else for me to do here in jail.

Oh please, Matt. If you were in jail, you'd be plenty busy. Plenty.

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

ok, popcultureboy, I admit I haven't read ALL the brooklyn threads, so I accept your reasons...not that anyone cares. re: The official Brooklyn Thread It was just a thought.

Of course, if we didn't answer them, even in fun...about Matt_G's prospects in prison...(that was hysterical)...the name wouldn't keep popping up to the top...since they've lost control of this one there will probably be another soon...soon the whole page will be Brooklyn....as far as the eye can see......

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

Yes, the thread titles will all mention Brooklyn, Sunfish, but NONE of the messages contained therein will actually be about Brooklyn. That will be the beauty of it.

A little bird told me this might just be a Brooklyn thread. *shrug*
You know it and you want it... you just can't believe you've got it.

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

Wasn't Threadjack a TV show in the 80's?
Or am I thinking of Kojak?

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

Maybe Crackerjack, or was that a UK phenomenon?

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

Definitely a Kojak....Threadjack would have to be a late 90's-21st century show unless it was about a sewing sweatshop or something....

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

some of us country folk who don't have culture here in the woods just want a little information about the show. what's a shill? i don't understand them foreigner words. you all are very entertaining. please let me know what a shill is so i can get me some education. at least it won't be about that brooklyn show.
...and the moral of the story is, don't buy a weedwhacker when your lawn is dead!!!"

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

Well beans, I's can tell ya that a shill be what one is called when a he or a she person workin' fer a show decide to git on a board much like this one har, and talk 'bout it day an' night fer ever.

re: The official Brooklyn Thread

Funny how we can have positive threads but no negative ones...personally I think this show is overhyped and is as dangerous for the industry with its poppy/horribly worded songs as Mamma Mia, All Shook Up, etc. And since when can a show base its publicity on the fact that its star was the UNDERSTUDY of another show...seems a bit odd to me.
