No worries. I'm understandably sensitive about the subject
I hope you do see it.
Here's a really good clip of "When You're Home":

Posted: 3/27/08 at 8:04amThanks to the lottery and the reasonably priced mezz tickets I have seen the show from the first row and the last row! Quite a difference and worth experiencing both the intimacy and the 'whole picture' where the staging and choreography is really wonderful. It kinda is like seeing and hearing two different shows, both awesome.

Look, I think that even if you don't particularly love the types of music represented in this show that doesn't mean it won't work well when you see it in a context like this. It's a wonderful show, tons of talent, and although I think the music is one of the greatest parts it's not the only thing that's amazing about this show.
But... if you're going to go determined that you will hate it, then you will so if that's what it comes down to then don't bother, but I'm telling you you're missing out.
Cages or wings? Which do you prefer? Ask the birds. Fear or love, baby? Don't say the answer Actions speak louder than words. (Tick, Tick... BOOM!)
