Theater hopping?

Hi gang,

Coming to NYC for work next week and plotting out my evening shows. A question -- I've already seen GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE but would like to catch it again before it ends with this cast. If I see FUN HOME, it will be out by 8:45 on Wednesday, and GG starts at 8pm. If I buy a ticket, I can obviously take my seat at intermission, but would they let me in to stand in the back for the balance of Act 1 midstream?
