I'm going to Boston next month around the 28th and 29th, anyone know any theater i should attend?
There are a few very good productions from local companies that will be on at that time, including the premiere of a new piece by local playwright Melinda Lopez, as well as a tour of "An American in Paris" which, if you didn't see in NY, is absolutely worthwhile.
If you aren't already hooked in to Goldstar or Today Tix, a good resource for you is www.artsboston.org. You'll find a pretty comprehensive calendar and discount offers for some performances.
Enjoy your stay!
I'm looking forward to the Boston premiere of The Scottsboro Boys, which will be running at Speakeasy Stage at that time.

The biggest regional theaters in the area, american repertory theater and huntington theater company, are both outstanding. I don't think ART will have any major productions running in late October, but Huntington will have Tiger Style! directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel. For regional theaters, both have fantastic production values. I think Huntington recently won a tony award for best regional theater.

And, Lyric Stage will be showing "Warrior Class," a new political drama by Kenneth Lin, who is a writer for Netfix's "House of Cards."
