I prefer orchestra seats to Mezz seats. For me Mezz seats, there always seems to be something block blocking out sections of the stage. And in front row Mezz there's often a bar, so you have to slouch to see under or lean forward to see over. If I go Mezz I ussually go about center fourth or fith row.
The mezz. at the O'Neil is great, but I'm not sure if I would consider the orchestra bad either, though I prefer the former.
The Brooks Atkinson. The front mezz is fantastic.
Front Mezz in the St. James has definetly been one of the best mezz seating experiences i've encountered
If I can get front mezz seats instead of Orch seats under the mezz...

It depends on the show. Sometimes I've wished I was sitting out on the sidewalk.
