Can anyone recommend a fun board game or DVD game that would be good for a bunch of theatre-heads? Musicals or plays.

Looking for more stuff to do at a New Year's Eve Party for some threatre buddies.

I'm heading out to the mall to see if I find anything, but thought I would check here.

Thanks in advance.

Let me know if I should move this to the Off-Topic Disc. Board.

Try any of the "Scene-It" games. While not theatre related, a bunch of theatre people should have a great time at it. The Movie version and the SNL version are quite fun.

Guesstures is a game where you have to act out things in a hyper-active charades format.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
