Posted: 3/17/15 at 12:23pmI know this is a long shot but does anyone here happen to have a collection of Theatre Crafts magazines? I'm trying to find an issue from the 80's with a cover story regarding touring shows. In this issue there is a photograph of the original Broadway set for NINE in comparison to the set for the show when it went on tour. (The original set was set in a spa, the touring set was set in a train station.)

I had a set for years but they are gone now.
Sorry.
I would have given you the whole crate.
You may have luck at the Lincoln Center Library.
But tell the people why there was a whole different set in another locale.

Posted: 3/29/15 at 9:26amAlso in the long shot category, I have been looking for the Theater Crafts issue that shows a drawing of the internal structure of the Phantom's chandelier. I have the drawings of the plan view and front elevation, but I lack the one that shows the internal support system. As I recall this would be an issue from 87 or 88, and had a cover with either a pale background covered in Phantom masks, or the Wolf/Little Red from Into the Woods. Any chance you might be able to help out here too?

Theatre Crafts February 1988 Phantom of the Opera Broadway transfer issue--this was the only chandelier drawing in that issue.

Many thanks for this scan, it is cleaner than the one I've been working from.
I wish I could remember more accurately where I saw the illustration of the internal truss fro the chandelier... It was the same style drawing as this one, but showed the internal part.
Thank you so much for helping!

I've got the first few years of Theatre Crafts - looking for a home. Also TD&T, dB and Video Networks/VN.
If anyone wants them they are free if you pay the postage (media mail)
