I hope this isn’t OT. I tend to go see musicals REPEATEDLY and on the spur when I like them. (Up to viewing 8 of DOLLY w/Bernadette.). Going alone is ok, but it’s nice to have someone/ some folks knowledgeable and/or passionate to gab with at intermission — no drinks or dining before after — that would cut into my ticket budget!!!) Anyway, wondering if there’s any folks within a stones throw of BROADWAY who are up to catching shows.on the spur of the moment.
My next show will probably be DOLLY on the 15th (but ticket is already bought)— guess I’m going for Donna’s last show too. After that it’ll probably be KATE (repeatedly, if I like it), Bernhardt/Hamlet (play), GYPSY (when it opens) — maybe CHICAGO, maybe MY FAIR LADY (upset if not angry about the ticket prices.) My current work schedule only has me free for Sunday.
Gender/orientation not an issue — just no ALW our DISNEY enthusiasts. (My taste is mainly revivals, and shows that fall into the tradition.)
