Speculation is hurtful to many. Be a tad more cautious about your commentary. This is not a game. Strikes are reality.

mr. roxie,
i disagree. we could give more flexibility during load-ins. we offered it. we offered a big cut. they ignored it. they had an agenda that brooked no negotiation.
certainly changes need to be made. i just dont think we should make changes that treat us like migrant farm workers as the league proposes. they dont want to fix some rules, they want to break us.
aint gonna happen.

If I recall correctly, it was Equity they wanted to treat like migrant farm workers. We were somewhere below that.
And yes, everyone on the union side has been told, for almost a year now, to be prepared for the long haul. And I do mean long. I can't speak for anyone else but I personally am prepared to go for months, and I'll be eating well and my rent is already pre-paid. Go see Blue Man Group again.
