After the star-free PHANTOM's lukewarm embrace (that's kind) by movie audiences, they will surely want a star of Glenn's caliber to help tix to that one. (Liza--simply too bizarre a choice.) Arguably, it's a far less expensive than Phantom, since it has but two main locales, Norma's digs and the studio--easier to approximate than 9th century Paris.

I definitely agree with Glenn Close. And Hugh Jackman and Anthony Hopkins, what could be more perfect. I think that it could work much better on film than in the theatre anyway. Film can be much more intimate. Directors: Martin Scorsese, Alan Parker, Rob Marshall are all good ideas, I think.
