For the Bat Boy fans out there I am sure you will delighted that there will be a new CD of the West Yorkshire Playhouse / London production.

Officially Dress Circle just say it is planned recording but I hear it has alreay been recorded and will hit the shops next month.

I'm happy whenever a recording of a musical is made, but isn't the word on the street that this UK production sucks? Or is the cast fine, and it's everything else that's subpar?

It is a bad location for the show, a 1404 seat theatre which is a huge disadvantage since it sucks the life out of the production. Some of the ensemble could be better however the four leads are very good indeed. They have bad lighting design and some of the direction could be vastly improved. I enjoyed the show and have decided to go along again since the £5 seats at the back of the Upper Circle are being upgraded to top price seats in Dress Circle at the moment. I realistically expect it to close within a month unless it can get a few good reviews.

"Ugly Boy" is going to become "Hey Freak," "What yo uwana do?" Is now "Hey Freak two" and inside your heart is "Mine all Mine" which stinks cuz i loooooooove all those songs!

NOOO!! why can't they just add in the new songs and leave the old songs alone!!! Inside your heart one of my favorite songs in the show! And no more beat boxing!!
