Has anyone seen this play at Acorn Theatre directed by Ethan Hawke? It has a terrific cast and writer. I was curious to know what you thought. Thanks.

I haven't seen it yet (I have tix for the end of the month), but several posters over at ATC really slammed it as a poorly written mess that even the great cast can't save and advised people to skip it.

It opens tonight so we'll see if the critics agree soon enough.

I'm going on Nov 25, but even if it's a mess, it'd be fun to see the cast. I was happy seeing Marsha Mason in A Feminine Ending (which wasn't a great play either).
