He is one of the most amazing people I have met in my life!
I took a series of dance classes from him last year in the city and he is just so INSPIRING and HILARIOUS and the classes were like none I've ever taken. Not only did we incorporate Cassie's number into Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk, but each class would end with us sitting around in a circle and Thommie would share a story with us or play a recording of something that meant a lot to him and it was this sort of communal prayer/meditation/undescribable experience and people would cry or laugh or both and just, wow. So cool.
And ya, he's a Tony Award Winner for choreography...
