Just came home from seeing this and I have to say I LOVED it! I wish I could have stayed and saw the evening performance as well but I'm sure it was sold out as was matinee.
Darcie Roberts was Millie and she did a wonderful job.
I also really liked Diana Kaarina who was Miss Dorthy Brown, Hollis Resnik as Mrs. Meers and Sean Allan Krill as Mr. Trevor Grayson.
I know your waiting for it but they were making announcements about cast changes just as my Mother was asking me a question. I thought I heard them say Juliana Hansen (who was listed as Gloria in the playbill) but I didn't hear as who so I’m not 100% sure who she played. That as the only disappointing part. I so wanted to see her.
I know some of the board memeber said they were going to see the show tonight so if you did, can you please tell me if you heard which part she played?

I am glad you enjoyed the show as much as I did.
If Juliana did not play Millie, she played Gloria, a dishwasher...and I believe she plays a maid in Muzzy's penthouse.

That was how she was listed in the playbill (as Gloria/dishwasher/etc) but when they made the last minute announcement is when I thought I heard her name as playing someone else. Not 100% sure as I said, my Mother chose that exact moment to ask me a question so I didn't hear it.
Mothers. Gotta love'em. Their timing is always a wonder to behold.![]()

I saw the evening performance. Juliana went on for her normal roles yesterday.
I loved the show, it was a blast. I was a bit nervous about seeing it- I have seen it 5 times with Sutton, but I ended up loving Darcie's Millie! She was fantastic. The entire cast was great- ESPECIALLY Hollis Resnick as Mrs. Meers. She was amazing. Diana Kaarina was an adorable Miss Dorothy.
We had an understudy for Muzzy, she was fantastic as well.
The show was very well done- I talked to Juliana after the show and she told me and my friend that the creative team had been at the show last week and they made a bunch of little changes. It was nice to see the show again!
One of the best parts was seeing the Tony Award. They had the award on display at the theatre...that was pretty awesome.

I forgot about that. I didn't get to see it because my Mom had all she could do to walk from the car to the theater and we were on the other side. If I had been there by myself, I would have tried to say hello to Juliana and would have went to see the award.

I wanted to meet Juliana, also, so I did not get to see the Tony award when the show was in Cleveland.

Since I wasn't sure what I heard, I tried to pay attention to "Gloria" so I'm glad I did see her. ![]()

Yes, I love that theater. I wish I could have seen MeatLoaf when he was there the last time but as he didn't have a matinee. ![]()
What show did you do, Bill?
Janelle! I bet that's the name I heard. I was sure it started with a "J" (making me think it could be Juliana)! That clears up the mystery!
Thanks guys/gals!

It truly is an amazing show ... the dancing is crazy good.
A well-deserved TONY AWARD, though I LOVED Urinetown!

Urinetown is coming to the TBPAC sometime soon. I'm going to try to get tickets to that but I'm really excited to see Le Miz is coming back again. I've seen it twice already but that's one I don't think I would ever tire of. ![]()
