I saw it for the first time on tour last month. It was a nice production and I thought that the actors did well, but I'm just not extremely fond of the musical itself.
It'll definitely be an enjoyable evening though, probably moreso if you're already acquainted with the music (I wasn't) and know that you like it. As far as specific things to look out for, I'm not sure...maybe someone else can help with that!

Just saw it this weekend! I liked it - it was mostly just a cutesy fun musical. The dancing was my favorite part, but that's because I love tap. One thing, if you're not too fond of the era of the 20s, including 20s fashions, music, or dancing, you'll most likely hate the show.
I thought the cast was pretty strong, though it was the first time seeing the show so I didn't have another cast to compare it with. Millie was slightly nasal-y, but she did a very respectable job in my opinion. I would also suggest familiarizing yourself with the music if you haven't already. You don't have to play it over and over (unless you want to of course!) but I listened through the CD a couple times, and listened to my favorites quite a few times. It was nice recognizing some of the music, yet having a few songs that I didn't know as well.
There are some good comical moments, especially with the Chinese guys and the boss (I suck at character names). Just go into it with an open mind ready for a night of fun...not necessarily any deep contemplative thinking.
