Should I buy the cast recording or not? Please, help me with your point of view because Amazon hasn't got music samples from this show. Thanks.
The show was quite awful on-stage, but comes off better on CD. The only real reason to buy it is for Norbert Leo Butz.
If you have other things on your list, I'd say skip it. It's okay once through, but not something I put on often, unless I need a good giggle.
Speaking of the bf, I think when I played part of Thou Shalt Not he screamed "What the F*** is this piece of crap."
Not only is BobbyBubby's boyfriend cute, he is wise and has a way with words.
"Speaking of the bf, I think when I played part of Thou Shalt Not he screamed "What the F*** is this piece of crap.""
I think that was EVERYBODY'S reaction.
"Someone is saying, THOU SHALT NOT". The title tune is catchy, in a KILL ME NOW, sort of way. I like "Take Her to the Mardi Gras". hehe, it's fun, again, in a slightly painful way.
Didn't Debra Monk spell out the murderer on a scrabble board?
Harry Connick Jr. shouldn't be allowed to write musicals or guest star on Will and Grace.
"Didn't Debra Monk spell out the murderer on a scrabble board?"
If I remember correctly, yes.
After her character had a stroke, apparently. Oh my. The Cast Recording definetly deserves a good laugh once around, but after that, it should be burned quickly.
Harry Connick,Jr. shouldn't be allowed outside Orleans Parish.
I've tried to block the entire show from my memory. I will, however, throw on the cast album from time to time (as you said, for a good laugh).
Even the cast is kind of horrible, except Norbert.
What's that one song, "Tugboat, tugboat..."
