Thoughts on Paramount's final show?

Does anyone have any thoughts on what the Paramount's final show in their season will be? They keep saying that it's going to be announced soon, but I haven't seen anything about it. I wouldn't mind seeing Evita, but I'd much rather see a top-rate local production. I just hope they don't choose a play. Straight plays at the Paramount are a stupid idea.

I thought the Paramount only hosted (for lack of a better word) touring shows. I'd live for to be Evita, not having seen it before. Hopefully not one of the cash cows, like Phantom or CATS again.

Haven't Millie and Full Monty both been through Seattle in the last few years?

First-rate tours like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Spamalot don't usually play week runs at places like Paramount. Paramount usually does the bus and truck tours Bobby was talking about.

When i said I wanted a local Evita, I meant not at the Paramount. If Paramount hosted a tour of Evita, it would be a good 6-10 years before we got another large mounting in the area.

Well, as long as we're pondering, I can keep dreaming that they'll bring in The Boy Friend. But we'll probably end up with Rent. Again.

Though they do occasionally bring in tours for longer, i.e. Lion King, and the first time Rent was in town (though it played at the Moore). I was shocked to see "Wicked" playing for only a week. That's nuts.

personally I'd like to see rent again. but thats mostly b/c I saw it last time it was here in 04 and have been a renthead ever since so my favorite musical would always be a welcome choice. But (in general) does the paramount ususally book a show that has been here so recently?
