Hi there,

I am planning on seeing a matinee show tomorrow afternoon and am looking for some advice as to where I will find the most luck in purchasing tickets. Ideally, I would like to see either Movin' Out, the Boy from Oz, or Avenue Q. Do college students receive a better discount at one outlet over another?

Thank you for any suggestions you folks may have. I appreciate it very much.

movin out does student rush for I beleive $35...the others don't do SR

You can try the lottery for Avenue Q. There is usually a good turnout...even for matinees. They only pick 6-8 names...so you have to be lucky! Normally Avenue Q is sold out, so the lottery is the only way. BFO is starting to get really popular and selling out. But they have a student discount:

Type: Student Discount
Price: $30.25 per ticket
Amount: 4 tickets per ID
Location: Rear mezzanine
Note: Available for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday performances only. Sold no more than one week in advance.

I know a bunch of people who have done rush for Movin Out and ended up with excellent seats so you should try that

And hang on, when did you win the discus?
