I've been on a ticket buying frenzy, and here's what I've learned:
The cheap tix for "High Fidelity" are all in the back rows. Wait. The good seats will arrive.
"The Vertical Hour" has no good seats available this year, but starting Jan. 1, you can get second row, if you have AmEx.
"The Coast of Utopia," there are no tix available for the marathons. However, there are decent seats left for the individual shows.
"Company" has pretty much anything you want.
"A Chorus Line" has no decent seats available through March of next year.
"Miss Jean Brodie" has great seats on the cheap, go to Broadwaybox.
As does "Mime le Duck."
I'm just saying.
Oh,one other thing. I'm sitting in C3 for Angela Lansbury in her Dorothy Parker show. Come say "Hi" if you're around, BWW peeps.

The Vertical Hour does indeed have great seats after January 1. I just got second row for the January 24 matinee. I am also seeing Les Miz that night. In addition, I am planning to see Company and Chicago that week (Between January 22-25) as well and have a few questions.
First, should I wait to get tickets for Company? I would think if it gets to November-December and it is not selling out every night, they will have discount codes online. Is it likely that will happen?
Second, does anybody think Chicago will be a hard ticket to get in January with Bebe coming back or should I try to get that right away?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank You.

My guess is that it's likely. Unless "Company" gets valentines from every critic across the board, it seems an unlikely sell-out, and there will probably be good discounted seats.
Of course, it all depends on where you want to sit. Right now, there are great seats available at pretty much any performance, but at full price. After the reviews come out, it's anybody's guess.
As for "Chicago" tix in January, I have no idea. It probably depends on what Barry and Fran have up their sleeve, casting-wise. But remember this: January is the death knell for most theatre in NYC. It's your best bet to get tickets for anything. Most likely at a discount. Especially for a show that's been running over ten years. Bebe or no Bebe.
I'm just saying.
