Is anyone else having issues with TicketMaster's online service. I've been trying to purchase tickets to Spider-man and have followed the instructions very carefully, yet every time I get to the "checkout" section, I get an error saying that the tickets I've chosen are not available. The message explains that it's possible that someone else has purchased the tickets while I was processing my order, however when I return to the site the same seats are still available. It's very distressing.
A lot of people have had issues with Spiderman tickets on ticketmaster, especially with the discount code. I would just call.
The TicketMaster website just generally sucks.
Just call, in the long run, you're more likely to get better/cheaper seats.
If you're in NY, go to the BO. A cinch - otherwise, I agree with ADAM. Call. I had exactly the same problem as you, a couple of wks. ago...there's either a permanent glitch in the system, or something. But I DID find that at 2-3 am EST, the glitch disappeared for a time. Maybe they update the system at that time. I used to work at Telecharge, but Ticketmaster is hideous in comparison. There's literallly THOUSANDS of calls coming in to a call center, and it gets tied up for hours. Be patient, and try different dates, if you can.
Yeah, there's some issue with Spider-Man and discount codes. For some reason the website is showing tickets as being available as discounted sears but they're really full price ones. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with ticketmaster being bounced from Customer service to sales back to CS and on before I could finally get someone to actually see that there was a problem. All I wanted was for them to see that there was a glitch. I was told it would be taken care of but that was months ago.
