I brought this up already a while ago. Hopefully they resolve the issue.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

First off, thanks for calling it TicketDisaster. Their bonus charges are unacceptable and so limiting so they corner you in so you have to pay the additional fees and if it's too far in advance from an event they won't give you the pick up the tickets at the box office option.

Second, TicketMoneySucker is normally closed after midnight eastern standard time throughout most of the night every day...they do a lot of maintenance things then - I don't see how it all improves the site especially when your ticket results are so limiting. Chances are the Ragtime tickets will be up on the internet between 7-8 am...of course with all bonus charges functioning so they get the most $ from you.

I bought 4 tickets (2 per show) for the upcoming Neil Simon shows during previews, and my bonus handling charges totaled up just shy of the cost for one more full price preview ticket!

It's working now.

Weird that they have $20 as an option for the prices. No seats are coming up for me when I choose that price level and the rear mezz seats are $45. Maybe the $20 will be for rush or lotto. I still don't get why they would let you choose $20 though unless there are indeed seats at that price.

"Rent" had a $20 price listed for years-- its for the lottery-- used to annoy me as well- Went for the $45 tix for 11/17---

It is working now.

I really want to go to the first preview (LOVE Ragtime), but the "best" available is either orchestra row C way off on the side, or row S in the center. If I'm going to pay full price, which I don't mind doing the first time, I want a really great seat. I assume they're holding back a lot of seats. I'll just keep looking, I guess, and see what comes up.

Maybe when the Neil Simon box office opens I'll just go directly there.

I'm going to predict right now that the first preview will be canceled. I don't know why...I just get that feeling...

You may not even need to buy a full-price ticket until the day-of. I did that for BILLY ELLIOT and got 5th row dead center. It was not a cancellation, they just had released some holds.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
