Ticketmaster Resale Tickets question

Has anyone ever bought resale tickets directly from Ticketmaster? Is it similar to StubHub where there is a chance someone could scam you and sell something that doesn't exist? I am trying to buy tickets to a show for this weekend, and I found some decently priced tickets from the resale section.

with stubhub there is zero chance that someone can scam you. I assume it is the same with ticketmaster,

Ticketmaster Resale is completely scam-free, as they reissue you a new ticket and cancel the old one.

HogansHero: That's what I assumed, but I've heard stories that because the ticket is posted by the seller (and can come from different sources), there is a chance they can sell a ticket that doesn't exist or more than one person the same ticket. Of course if this happens StubHub will work to refund you or get you seats to the same performance.

Sounds like this won't be the case for TM+ Resale since, like you said haterobics, it is just a reissued ticket via the Ticketmaster database. Just wanted to get some feedback. Thanks!
