Ok so apparently my first post never showed up just me saying I misspelled gershwin. So here is the post i meant to put up.
Hey guys, I'm finally going to see Wicked in Nov (and HOPEFULLY Brooklyn) anyway, I've heard all the seats are good but I want the best I can get. Every other show I've ever seen I've been in the very back (I mean last row). I finally want to see something with good seats where I can see facial expressions. Anyway, I was wondering which seats are best. Orch or front mezz. Here are the best at ticket master from today:
Front Mezz Row B seats 27-31
Front Mezz Row C seats 22-26
Orch Row Q Seats 31-35
Orch Row U seats 34-38
Does it make a difference which side of the theatre you're on. when I typed in best available for front mezz it gave me row c but then when I looked for left of stage I got row B.
Any suggestions as to what I should buy??

Please people. Help a girl out:/
If it were me, i would want to go with the front mezz. The Wicked set is HUGE and overwelming at times...so it would be nice to see the whole picture from good seats. However, you probably wont be able to see facial expressions since the mezz is kinda far back....just bring binoculars. I can't say much about the exact seats because i have never sat there.

I figured front mezz would be better for that reason. Unfortunitely I think facial expressions are out. I'm not going to get that in row Q or U either. Since the front mezz overhangs at row N I think that would be my best bet. Anyone else with opinions? I'd like to get some feedback before I buy.

my memory isnt that great
but i woudl go with row q, cause there is a walkway right in front so no one will block you, and its raised up some
cause if you sat in row h your eyes woudl meet theirs.
i persoanly dotn like being to far up in the air

I was sooooo worried. I just saw Wicked on friday (AND LOVED IT!!!) anyway...we sat in the orchestra row V...let me tell you, those were the best seats ever! You could see the whole set and see facial expressions...if i were u id sit in the middle of row N, right beneath the front mezz where the speakers are so its nice and loud, ur nice and close, its great! Believe me you cant go wrong anywhere in that theatre! :)
Hi, there:
I was in a similar situation in November of last year, getting tickets for my friend & her Mom. The box office had choices in either Row Q of the Orhcestra or the 1st row of the Mezz, on the side. The box office staffer actually recommended the orchestra slightly more, because the sides of Row Q have nobody in front of them, due to the way the theatre is built. I've attached a link to a pretty accurate seating chart at the bottom of this page. The seats they're offering you are sorta far to the side, but again, there'd be no immediate obstruction in front of you (i.e. other people, lol).
It really depends on your taste in seating for musicals; my friend is really big on sitting anywhere in the orchestra, while I myself usually prefer the mezz. The Gershwin is a cave of a theatre, IMO, and Wicked is the best show to really fill it in awhile; I really don't think there's a bad seat. The mezzanine is sorta high up and far back from the stage, but (as the previous poster said) it might offer some new vantage points toward the really spectacular set and tech design. Plus, the mezz seats they're offering you are slightly less over to the side than the Orhcestra. Soooo I feel I'd go with the Mezzanine in this case, unless seats in Row Q that are more toward the center suddenly became available.
Apologies for how long that was...hope it helped!
