Can someone please supply me with a synopsis of this show, please? I have the cast recording, but I just don't know the storyline and I was asked to play Michael in a production of it that's being put on by a new theatre company opening in Dallas. It'll be their first show and it would help if I knew what the show was basically about, lol.

In a TINY nutshell to give you an idea of the play:

Jonathan lives in NYC. Susan is his girlfriend, Michael is his friend. Jonathan deals with turning 30 in 1990, the lack of success he's had in his career so far, his girlfriend leaving him, and his best friend confessing that he has AIDS.

Tgif, you deserve special commendation for not saying "Do a search" but doing the search yourself and presenting the results! If only everyone else here would be so helpful to each other.
