I realize there's a really small cast but I think the company I'm trying out for is going to embellish the cast a little bit and make Carissa and Susan (for instance) two different roles, and have two different people, rather than how Larson doubled all of the roles. I agree, he was a very brilliant man. I can't wait for the RENT movie!

Posted: 6/4/05 at 10:19pmehhh sing that if you know the pianist because u usually don't wanna bring JRB to an audition unless you know the pianist can do it. Maybe something from Wild Party? Def something "poppish", not to the extreme though.

Posted: 6/4/05 at 10:27pmThe accompaniment in the music book isn't that hard, but if you're really worried about it then you can do something else. Hm, I would definitely go for something a bit more obscure, or if not obscure, something on the old side. "What Did I Ever See in Him?" from Bye Bye Birdie is good if you're only doing 16 or 32 bars.
