Anyone know when TMG is leaving Phantom of the Opera?
I heard he was leaving in April...but if anyone has more info that would be great!!

I don't know about TMG's last day. I also heard that he was leaving in April and I also heard that Sandra Joseph is leaving...is that true? Anyone know? Will Rebecca Pitcher be taking over? Who is the new Raoul? Is TMG going to Vegas? Phantom isn't one of my favorites but I have some family members that are OBSESSED!

Tim is leaving - haven't heard the date yet. He's going on to the Vegas production.

Sandra's contract isn't being renewed. Her last show should be April 15.

Howard's not renewing his...his last show should be early April, too.

I saw TMG on tour... not impressed at all. Vocally, he was very good, and he looked the part, but he really couldn't have been more wooden.

Well...I don't know what Howard is going to do next (not really curious, either). I know Sandra doesn't have another role lined up yet, but she's working on a book. And, as I mentioned before, Tim is going to play Raoul in the Vegas production of Phantom.

I actually liked Tim. I'd say he's the second best of the three Raouls I've seen over the past year. He always sounded too angry during All I Ask of You, but I liked him much better than John Cudia...he bored me into a coma.

Well, I know Sandra's leaving because two of my friends talked to her after the show on Friday night. She told them her contract was not being renewed (that it was not her decision) and that her last show would be in six weeks.

I got the news about Howard a few weeks ago when I stopped to talk to someone who works at the Majestic.

As for Tim, I believe there is official confirmation somewhere, but I don't recall the link (I'm on my work computer and don't have my bookmarks)

thats a big shame! joseph is really good and so's mcgillin....i dont really understand why they ended her contract...mayby shes been in it too long now...still...best christine iv seen

I think Howard came FROM playing Hook on the Peter Pan tour to resume the role of the Phantom last October. I have no idea if he'd be going back to it now...but his web site hasn't been updated in ages and ages so it's not the greatest source of current news on him.

Okayy I know that Michael Shawn Lewis is starting as Raoul on April 3rd making Tim's last day the 1st, I believe. As for Sandra I heard about 6 more weeks. Which brings us to the same time of Tim's departure.

Do you know how much this sucks!! I have tickets for June cause we wanted to see Sandra Joseph perform cause we have only seen her once out of the 3 times we have seen it and now she won't even be there. But I am glad that TMG is leaving I really don't like him as Raoul.

I'm about to cry as well! I have adored Sandra Joseph and I haven't seen her perform in years. I was planning a whole New York trip to just to see her in Phantom. I think they must be crazy not to renew her contract. Sure she's been in it for a while, but her voice is amazing!

I think it is a good thing that Phantom is having a big cast change. Nothing against the performers, but some of them have been doing those roles a long time and it could be nice to have some freshness on the stage...that is if they actually cast some new people...Phantom has a tendancy to be very "inbread". If they get some new people I may even venture another trip to see the show. I have not seen it in years.
