One guy gets in her face "what, won't let friend talk to a black guy?"
Wrong one to start rhrowing bs race card to....
My wife walked away eith friend. Nos three guys are around them hussling for cash.
The only reason the guys backed off, I was 1/2 a block away (sitting in car at first amused they let themselves get stopped. Noooooo!!!!!) and many sitting in tables outside Juniors and Caroline's were starting to take notice.
They screamed a few B and C words before smacking my wife over the head with their CD.
I have parked on that block a few times in the past month. Most of the time doors to Jerry Orback theayer blocked by bag sellers and their big boxes and/or blankets. Wallimg past Juniors and Caroline's Comedy, there are more scammers then tourists. Times square cops scared them out. Midtowm orth doing squat.
Looks like 42nd street from 1985"
Sir, this is a Wendys.
"As a general rule I don't take anything that anyone is trying to hand me on the street."
Yep. My wife and I just shake our head and say "no thanks" and that includes flyers.
"Classic pickpocketing ploy, so be careful. While one person engages in this kind of "transaction" others may be dipping into your purse or tote bag or bumping into you to lift your wallet."
Good advice. Actually, this problem is worse in Europe especially France and Italy IMO.
