While far from my favorite Dylan song, "Rainy Day Women" is not a "stupid" song. They will stone you- also refers to the barbs and destructive comments, the casting of stones, that happen to performers. While simple it has multiple meanings, and the flamoyant quality of the original recording makes it hard to recognize, thus adding to the appeal.
I just hope they gave these songs some REASON to be together. If this show is a disaster, I will be very upset.

I am glad Dylan saw it. He loves avante guarde stuff- "Renaldo and Clara" anyone?
I don't think it will be, I am just VERY protective of Dylan. More so than he is actually.
