Thank GOD they don't have Rainy Day Women!

Everybody must get stoned..."
That was so dumb!

While far from my favorite Dylan song, "Rainy Day Women" is not a "stupid" song. They will stone you- also refers to the barbs and destructive comments, the casting of stones, that happen to performers. While simple it has multiple meanings, and the flamoyant quality of the original recording makes it hard to recognize, thus adding to the appeal.

I just hope they gave these songs some REASON to be together. If this show is a disaster, I will be very upset.

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

I am glad Dylan saw it. He loves avante guarde stuff- "Renaldo and Clara" anyone? re: Times They Are A Changin' songs

I don't think it will be, I am just VERY protective of Dylan. More so than he is actually. re: Times They Are A Changin' songs

Is the above list still accurate? There are 28 listed, plus Rainy Day Women makes 29 songs. That seems like a lot for a show that is only 90 minutes.

"What was the name of that cheese that I like?" "you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start" "well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"

I can't wait for the cast album! I didn't realize that there are so many songs. I was at the "invited dress rehearsal" and they didn't pass out playbills.
