i dont know if this is true or not but, someone who was in RENT said this about 5 years ago..that after TBP left rent, he was working at the GAP Times Sq.

actually matt did both, he worked at a gap in manhattan, i think when he was at nyu... certainly before he did footloose. but ill spare you the gap ad hes in, even though its adorable.

He has changed his name to TOBY PARKER and he is currently doing Saturday (or Sunday) nites at a new cabaret on the upper east side called Avia or something like that. I'm going next week.

TBP is appearing at the Cabaret/Restaurant OPIA on East 57th Street (@ Lexington Ave) on Sunday nights in May @ 9:00 PM.
It appears that Timothy has gone back to using the name "Toby Parker"; the name that he was originally known by when he appeared in "The Innocents" and "The Runaways" on Broadway back in the 1970's.
