Any hope what so ever for obtaining a ticket? I will be in the city on the 7th just to see if the theater is still selling any.
Telecharge tells me thatthe tickets are ALL GONE by internet and phone
I found "alternative" ticket sites that have the priced in the high 200's to 500's but by simply reading the small print it guarantees nothing.
I also emailed the producers to see if they are willing to spare any. My checkbook is willing to pay up to $200 for 1 ticket.
But if not I can look on the bright side. $200 more to spend on something else that won't even amount to the happiness that Tommy would bring. *sigh*

I emailed the producers about a ticket before I bought mine via telecharge. and these are the responses that I have been getting......
Dear "Tommy" Fans,
This is a group email going out to the more than 100 of you who have emailed us about tickets to our upcoming sold out show.
We are happy to announce that a pair of VIP seats has just become available for purchase. These seats were never on sale to the general public and are among the best in the house, second row dead center. It's possible that other tickets may become available for purchase later, but none will be of this quality. And because these are VIP seats, they also include 2 passes to the private cast party following the show where you can mix and mingle with the stars and our celebrity guests.
Since this is a charity event and we want to raise the most money possible, we decided that the best and fairest way to sell these very special tickets is to offer them to you via an auction.
Bidding begins immediately and will continue until 12 noon Monday, December 8th
Here are the auction rules and procedures. Please read carefully before bidding and email us in advance if you have any questions. Note: this is a private auction for the recipients of this email, no outside bidders allowed
AUCTION RULES
1. You are bidding on a pair of Center Orchestra seats, B 107&108
2. Bidding commences immediately and ends at 12 noon Eastern this Monday, December 8th.
3. The opening price for the tickets is $1004 for the pair
4. The tickets must be sold as a pair, NO SINGLE TICKET BIDS
5. All bidding is done via email to the producers of the show at hicksnco@aol.com . To place a bid, send the dollar amout of your bid and include your full name, address and cell phone number so we can contact you immediately if you are the winner. Put TOMMY TICKET AUCTION in the subject line.
6. Raises in bids must be in $100 increments ($1000, 1100, 1200 etc)

Hello Again Everyone
The auction got off to a great start and the tickets were soon up to a $1400 bid.
Sadly, that bidder has just contacted us to say they must withdraw their bid due to a family situation that will prevent them from attending.
So the tickets are still available and there is less than 24 hours remaining in the auction, so now is the time to get your bid in!
We have decided to change two of the terms of the auction. First, we are going too allow persons outside of this mailing list to participate. We need to do the best job we can for our charities and leave no stone unturned.
Second, we are now lowering our opening bid number to $700 for the pair.
Remember, the auction closes TOMORROW at 12 NOON and that the winner is the HIGHEST bid recieved EARLIEST, so it's to your advantage not to wait until the end to bid.
Thanks so much for your interest and your support for Rockers on Broadway
-----------------------------------
Only 15 minutes remain in the auction!
Don't miss this opportunity to sit in the CENTER orchestra for Tommy and to attend the private cast party
Top Bid is still $800 for the pair from Kevin from NYC
