Thanks for the rundown, wickedrentq.
Im still kinda sore that so many great performers were not a part of this. Hi, where was Michele Pawk? Okay, probably over at MTC in Losing Louie, but still. What about Tracy Shayne? I didnt even see her in attendance of the party.... or Camille Saviola? What about Billy Zane and Taye Diggs?
I think if I had been there, the anniversary would have been bittersweet for me anyway (and NBC will understand)..... with people like Michael Kubala, John Mineo, David Warren Gibson and Gregory Mitchell not there... That was Chicago when I fell in love with it. While I still do love the show, it's been a long time since it's been 'the same'.

CJR, I do admit, when Roz introduced "the original Chicago ensemble", I felt compelled to add, "Not really!!" Because there were more than three boys in it, after all...
The one other person I really wish had been there was Belle Calaway...she's been their fill-in Roxie so many times, and she was always terrific.
Anyway, the Velma who sang Class with Marcia was Mamie Duncan-Gibbs, who was in the original ensemble but moved up to play Velma for a couple of stints. And I believe Ann did the new choreography...at least I know she did the Entre Acte.

Oh, BELLE! That's right. I can't believe she wasn't a part of it either.

Interesting that the biggest Ovation was for Chita who was in the original and NOT this cheap Revival.
I am still P.O.d that the revival was basically a concert and the original was a Real Broadway Musical.
um, this revival is a real broadway musical? A concert transfer yes, but it undeniably works for the show.
and Chita WAS in "this cheap revival," in Toronto, Vegas, and London.
