Tonight's mini-blooper, DRS

Short and sweet:

During Rüffhousin', John goes to hit Norbert's leg. Sound cue fires off early, getting a bit of a giggle from the audience. Actors continue on like normal.

John then runs off the stage for his big "whammo" shot. As he comes down for the mega-hit, the stick flies out of his hand and bounces down the front of the stage. By that point, momentum's got him going through the hitting motion, and he does a great follow-through... sans stick. The sound cue, of course, fires off perfectly.

Audience goes crazy; John, Norbert and Sherie are trying not to break character, but you can see that it's quite hillarious.

John gets the stick back, and whaps Norbert for good measure. Show continues. Story ends.

sometimes it's even funnier when the actors break. i would've died seeing norbert and john trying to keep it together. it's like when jimmy fallon and will farrell are cracking up during a scene on SNL - that kind of stuff is hilarious to me.

i saw urintetown and there's a scene where some people have on rollerskates and they make a huge line that circles around and around, like a kickline spinning out of control. when they did it, the person on the end not only took a digger but couldn't get up in time to move out of the way when it came back around. 3 of the actors were laughing so hard they could barely finish the number. it was soooo funny!
