Tony Ticket Lottery

Anyone know if they are going to do another ticket lottery for the Tonys this year? its usually like a few days prior to the ceremony right?

I thiiiink the past few years it's been announced on Tuesday (today) and happened on the Thursday

Last year it was announced on the Monday and it happened on the Tuesday (so like today)

But I went to the Tony Pop up shop today (where last year's lotto was hosted) and they told me they were not having a lottery this year.

any chance that it would be announced tomorrow for a thursday lotto? Were the people in the pop up shop official on that information?

They seemed pretty definite on that answer, but I guess there could be one tmrw? But I really wouldn't count on it.

Perhaps the Theatre Wing figured it wouldn't be worth the stress after how much drama it's caused in the past. Sure, it was a poorly executed lottery and not fair in any way, but it was generous of them to offer the tickets in the first place.

I won the lottery two years ago and they had tons of tickets to give out that year. I went last year to the lottery and maybe only 50 people won. Is it completely sold out this year? I thought they did the lotto for the extra seats they have. Even thought it was so disorganized it was something fun to look forward too.

Still no news of a lottery? They would never do it on the same day as the Tonys, would they?

No ticket lottery this year. I talked to the people at the Tonys Pop Up Shop on Tuesday and they told me they had just been notified that all tickets were sold so there would be none left for a lottery.
