There have been two understudies for Captain Hook, Paul and Rory Donovan. Both are pretty incredible for different reasons.

Completely agree about Tony. I feel fortunate to have seen him twice but I wish it could have been more. He added the right element of playfulness with the boys and tenderness with Sylvia that seemed to be missing a little bit before. And that last line of "Stronger," wow.

I find it hard to believe that the man who played Will Schuester couldn't portray playfulness. When I first saw him perform Golddigger I though that he perfectly showed that this 30 year old teacher was down with a group of teenagers.

apologies, I didn't mean that Matthew Morrison didn't portray playfulness. He was very good. I just felt that Tony was a little bit more "free" and to me, just felt a little more believable with the silliness. Especially in the dinner scene.
