I hate to say it, but it really DOESN'T matter. If a show was so horrendous that it closed almost immediately, what is it going to win for? I confess that I did not see it, so perhaps the set designer, as someone mentioned above, might be worthy. Can't vote for something you haven't seen, though. Well, a lot of Tony voters DO, but the members of the nominating committee try not to.

There's probably no chance of winning, but there is a chance of a nomination and being able to add "Tony nominated...." is a very nice addition to your Playbill bio.
