They mentioned at SiTA today that the Red Carpet arrival is going to be shown on CBS this year for the first time. Since I won't be going to the Tony's, I was wondering if it were possible to stand outside Radio City and watch the people arrive? I'd love to see Nathan Lane and Tony Shalhoub - even if from a distance.
I'm assuming they close off the street to traffic since there will be so many people going in? Anybody with prior experience?
Thanks so much - I'm trying to take advantage of as much low-cost Broadway as I can while I'm in the city for 4 weeks.

Oh oh that's right my mistake - they are on the TV Guide channel. Sorry about that - I did know that. Guess it's time for bed.
And as for buying Tony tickets - I'm a poor college student.
The prices for these tickets are way out of my league. $100 for a show is bad enough...
