Hi,
I will be in new york from about 9pm tomorrow night. I am coming from the UK. I have already got Avenue Q tickets for Sunday night. Some of you probably saw my question a few days ago about Wicked returns and lottery.
The shows i want to see other than Avenue Q are Wicked, 42nd Street, Hairspray and Beauty and the Beast. I won't have time to see all of them, and i might only be able to see Avenue Q as i am only in New York till Tuesday afternoon.
So what i suppose i am asking is what is the best and quickest way to get tickets for those shows (at discounts). Go to TKTS? Go to the box office with a offer printed from playbill?
And one more Q about wicked cancelation (sorry). I will only be able to spend about $60 on a wicked ticket... do tickets such as the$55 and $50 tickets usual get returned or is it mostly the more expensive ones? Plus do i really have to spend hours quing in the cancealtion line?
Thanks

If you don't want to wait in the TKTS line. Check out:
www.broadwaybox.com
I purchase most of my b-way tickets there...

Hi,
How far in advance before the show do the offers at broadwaybox need to be bought.
For example could i try the wicked cancellation line or lottery and if i don't get in there go to see if there is avalability at another theatre with the broadway box offers?
thanks

Some shows have general rush and/or SRO, and most shows have student rush. Here's the policies:

The only thing I know for sure is that Ann Harada is leaving soon on maternity leave
but really, the Q understudies kick *ss so even if you don't get the full OBC, you're still in for a great show

Okay, fine. It's that unprofessional hack Harvey Fierstein. Happy now?
God, I try to avoid the gossip mills...

Oh gawd, that Mr.Fierstein
like that one time he left during the intermission of a show because of food poisoning
that ONLY time!
seriously, I wish every performer would take note of that wonderful man
