It was my 7th time and it's still ridiculously amazing. There were understudies for both Shalisa and Jeremy but they were still awsome though. I'm going to be so ridiculously upset when this thing closes October 31st. It's really the most amazing thing I've seen in New York in a long time. Everyone was on and the audience was awsome and they got 2 standing ovations which they completly deserve. Amazingness. Amazingness cubed.

I just got back from the workshop they did...

I cannot believe how amazing this group is!!! So incredibly talented. What they can come up with on the spot is incredible!

Can't wait for the full show this afternoon!

Ack I'm so jealous! Post how it was. Weren't they incredible?

I forgot to say what kind people they are. THe mean theater people turned the lights off and tod everyoe to leave cause naked boys singing was coming in, so toxic audio was like "it's okay, we'll come outside if you wanna see us," so they came outside in the rain to sign things. True class acts.

Well they always come out and sign things, they're some of the nicest performers I've ever met. ever.

Toxic Audio was absolutely amazing during their full performance! I am so impressed and will be definitely checking out their full show by the end of the month!!!! Such nice people, too!

OMG, I saw Toxic Audio Friday night too!!! The understudies were FAMAZING (esp. the girl...she said it was only her 2nd time on stage...insanity!). Paul is a STANDOUT beyond measure. Voice. Timing. Humor. Looks. Pardon me as I drool. It's a shame the show is closing. Everyone who has ever sung in their lifetime should see this show. It's moving, funny, and visually/audiocally (I like making up words) pleasing. SUPPORT TA!!!

Toxic Audio is definitely a class act.

Yep, it's disappointing that they won't be performing "in the neighborhood" as often after October 31 (and trust me...I've BEEN there...they were in MY neighborhood for SIX YEARS before they moved to NY). However, according to their web page, it looks as if they're going to be doing LOTS of stuff all OVER the place (world tour?!?!?!), so you never know when they may be nearby again.

I hear ya. Central Floridians have been missing them since last winter. The show at the Helen Stairs Theatre (Sanford FL) in November will be a nice change of pace for us...I won't have to take a freakin' PLANE to see them [wink].

I have been touting this show since it opened last April. By far, the 5 most talented people you can ask for. See this show before it closes Oct 31. It has music, comedy, something for all tastes.

My husband and I came up for a week in January and helped them sell CDs when they played the American Theatre of Actors. Then we came up for a short trip in May and for each of the "Friday Night Jams," (we saw lots of other shows as well). So far.

The Helen Stairs Theatre holds upwards of 600 seats, 300 if they don't use the balcony. Central FL was their home base for a long, long time and they have a LOT of fans and friends here. The advertisements all say that they had to add the 2nd show (on November 10th...originally they were just scheduled to play on the 11th) so I guess they're doing all right [wink].

Every single one of their friday night jam sessions i had conflicts. Goodness I wanted to go so bad. They're seriously the best thing ever in the history of the world. I'm assuming you're friends with them?

Friends? Nah.

They know us by sight and they know our names but that's about the extent of it. It takes more than "fandom" to develop a true friendship and we never pursued it any further.

So I just got back (I had dinner afterwards) and I cannot tell you how impressed I was. I mean I don't even know what to say. I was completely and utterly blown away. Those were 5 amazingly talented individuals. What a totally unique experience. They're closing oct 31, and while 3 original members left today, I urge EVERYONE to go see this before they close. It was just amazing. By far one of the best performances I have EVER seen.
